Thame Christmas light switch on takes place on Friday 29th November 2024.

There will be fairground rides, Santa’s grotto, charities fair and concert band.

Thame’s beloved “sweets man”, Chris Hurdman will switch on the lights this year at 6:30pm

In 2024, Chris was the recipient of the Community Award at the English Veteran’s Awards. For nearly 40 years, he has been a cornerstone of Thame’s Tuesday Charter Market.

Chris will be joined on stage by a very special man in a big red suit for the switch on – don’t miss it!
