Teddy Bear Hunt at Willen Lake
29 March, 2021 - 11 April, 2021
Get the kids out of the house over the Easter holiday in search for cuddly bears hiding around Willen Lake. How many will you find?
Here’s how it works…
- Click the ‘Book Here’ button on the Willen Hospice website and sign up. It’s £5 for the whole family, which includes one entry into our prize draw, but if you’d like to enter more than one child into the prize draw, you can pay an extra £1 per additional entry when booking.
- Between 29 March – 11 April, 20 teddy bears will be hidden around Willen Lake and nearby areas (within walking distance). You can play any day within those two weeks.
- At the beginning of March, you’ll be emailed a Teddy Bear Hunt pack. This will include the Teddy Bear Hunt clues and answer sheet, a children’s sponsorship form, children’s colouring in sheet, and a recipe for teddy bear biscuits to keep you fuelled on the hunt. If you don’t have a printer at home, email events@willen-hospice.org.uk and they’ll get a pack to you.
- On the day of the hunt, take our Clues and Answer sheet with you, and follow the first clue.
- When you reach the first teddy bear, you will see a poster by it with it’s name on it, and the number of the next clue you need to read. Before you leave, write down the teddy bear’s name on the answer sheet, and have a go at the teddy bear trivia question – you don’t need to get this correct, it’s just for some extra fun!
- Keep going until you reach teddy bear #20. Once you’ve found the last teddy bear, take a photo of it and email it along with your completed answer sheet – this can also be a photo – to events@willen-hospice.org.uk. You have until 18 April 2021 to do this. This will be your one free entry into the Prize Draw (below), which will be chosen at random.
