What’s On For Kids | May Half Term Oxfordshire 2024
25 May - 2 June
May half term is set to be full of exciting family activities across Oxfordshire. Here’s the Red Kite Days guide to what’s on for kids in Oxfordshire and some great ideas for days out. From Banbury to Abingdon and Thame to Witney, we’ve got it covered! Stretch out a little further and there’s a great guide too for Berkshire and Buckinghamshire too.
SPOTLIGHT
High Lodge Farm will transform their field into a giant pop-up straw maze playground. Children of all ages can let off steam on the carefully constructed straw towers, pyramids, fortress, maze and even our bale pirate ship. Under 5s will have their own mini bale play too.

May Half Term Fun at Tumblestone Hollow (north of Henley) 25th May – 2nd June
Discover the magic of Tumblestone Hollow at Stonor Park & Gardens this May half term. A wonderful adventure playground nestled in the trees with something for all ages and the most awesome slide! This half term they will also have a woodland nature trail and den building.

Once Upon A Unicorn at Fairytale Farm (near Chipping Norton) 25th May – 2nd June
Step into the magical world of Fairytale Farm this May half term with their Once Upon a Unicorn Event. This mythical creature will sprinkle some colourful magic around the Farm. There are lots of activities included and unicorn rides as an extra.

Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park will have an action-packed week of family fun this May half term. Have a go at circus skills, ride the miniature train, watch the beautiful birds of prey take flight, burn off steam with outdoor adventure play & score points with family games!

CODE outdoor performance (Bicester) 1st & 2nd June FREE
CODE is a spectacular blend of physical theatre, parkour and trials bike stunts with live rap and music. On an urban playground, skilled athletes and performers show what is happening to our young people exploited by organised drug crime gangs.
Millets Farmyard Adventure Golf
Successfully manoeuvre around the beehives, take on the tractor, but don’t get lost through the maze! Millets Farm adventure golf course takes you on a whistle stop tour of everything Millets; from farming heritage to record breaking leisure achievements.

Master Builders Club Lego Brick Building Session at The Story Museum (Oxford) 27th May
Build a story with LEGO! Master Builders Club will be providing 1000s of LEGO bricks that will transform the museum space into a LEGO fan’s paradise. Sessions are designed as a creative adventure that incorporates a playful learning experience whilst nurturing young minds. Suitable for all abilities of “Brickie” aged 5+.
